Solac is a historic Spanish brand with a legacy dating back to the early 20th century. Originally founded in Eibar, Spain, the company gained fame for inventing the world's first industrial coffee maker and the first travel iron. Known for its innovation in the small domestic appliance sector, Solac became a household name across Europe for its coffee machines, vacuum cleaners, and personal care electronics.
In 2014, the brand was acquired by the Taurus Group (Venca-Vance), a major Spanish multinational specialized in the small domestic appliance sector. This acquisition allowed Solac to expand its distribution and modernize its product line. While the brand maintains its Spanish engineering and design heritage, manufacturing is now largely centralized in China to ensure global competitiveness, though some specialized production lines remain in the European region.
