Goodfella’s Pizza is a prominent frozen pizza brand that has been a staple in the UK and Ireland for decades. The brand was established in 1993 with the goal of bringing authentic, Italian-American style frozen pizzas to the retail market. Since its inception, the production has been concentrated in dedicated facilities in Naas and Longford, Ireland, maintaining a high standard of quality and regional identity.
Originally launched by the Irish company Green Isle Foods, the brand has undergone several changes in corporate ownership over the years. Following a period under the 2 Sisters Food Group, it was acquired by Nomad Foods in 2018. This acquisition integrated Goodfella's into a massive portfolio of frozen food brands, allowing for broader distribution while keeping its core manufacturing base in Ireland.
Today, Goodfella’s is managed as part of Nomad Foods' extensive network, which also includes other household names like Birds Eye and Findus. The brand remains a market leader in the frozen pizza segment, known for its variety of crust styles and its heritage as an Irish-manufactured product serving the broader European market.
