Clipper is an iconic beverage brand from the Canary Islands, Spain. It was founded in 1956 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria by Octavio Juan Gómez. The brand is most famous for its 'Clipper Fresa' (strawberry) flavor, which has become a cultural symbol of the archipelago. Despite the dominance of global soft drink giants, Clipper has maintained its popularity in the Canaries for decades. Today, it is manufactured and distributed by Embotelladora de Canarias (Embotecán) and is part of the Ahembo group, a leading beverage producer and distributor in the region.
