Today, the brand is owned by pladis Global, which was established in 2016. pladis is the global snacking subsidiary of the Turkish conglomerate Yıldız Holding. While the brand maintains its British identity and is primarily manufactured in the United Kingdom (at the Harlesden bakery in London), its ultimate ownership rests with the Turkish-based parent company, reflecting the globalization of the consumer goods market.
