Historically, production moved from Amsterdam to Naarden and eventually to Roosendaal following acquisitions. Today, the brand is owned by Cloetta, a prominent Swedish-Dutch confectionery company. While the 'Engelse Drop' style is famous worldwide, Venco remains deeply rooted in Dutch heritage, maintaining its reputation for high-quality, authentic liquorice flavors. The product is primarily manufactured in the Netherlands, specifically at specialized facilities in Roosendaal that handle several of Cloetta's key Dutch brands.
