Freixenet is one of the world's most iconic producers of Cava and sparkling wine, with a history dating back to 1861 in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, Spain. The brand was founded by the Sala and Ferrer families, who joined their expertise to create the Freixenet name. Today, the brand is known for its distinctive frosted bottles and its expansion into alcohol-free alternatives, such as the 0.0% sparkling wine seen here.

In 2018, the German company Henkell & Co. Sektkellerei (now Henkell Freixenet) acquired a majority stake in the company, creating the world's leading sparkling wine group. While the heart of the brand remain in the Penedès region of Spain where the flagship products are manufactured, the ultimate ownership is shared through a global alliance headquartered in Germany. The group continues to focus on traditional craft combined with modern innovation in the non-alcoholic segment.
