Salvequick is a market leader in the European first aid sector, particularly known for its innovative plaster dispensers and high-quality adhesive bandages. The brand's history began in 1947 when Christian Cederroth founded Cederroth and launched Salveplast, which was later rebranded to Salvequick. It revolutionized the market by being one of the first companies to produce pre-cut, easy-to-use adhesive bandages for the consumer market.
Historically a Swedish industrial icon, the brand is currently owned by Orkla, a Norwegian conglomerate. While the brand has its roots in Stockholm, much of its modern manufacturing takes place in Spain, specifically at the Orkla Care production facility in Vallirana. From there, products are distributed across the Nordic region and international markets for use in both domestic and professional industrial settings.
