Maxwell House is a quintessentially American coffee brand, founded in 1892 and named after the Maxwell House Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. Its famous slogan, "Good to the Last Drop," was reportedly inspired by a remark from Theodore Roosevelt. For over a century, the brand has been a staple in households, known for providing consistent medium and dark roast blends available in ground, instant, and pod formats.

While the brand originated as a boutique blend, it quickly became a commercial powerhouse under the Cheek-Neal Coffee Company. Throughout the 20th century, ownership shifted as the food industry consolidated, eventually becoming a flagship brand under the General Foods umbrella, and later Kraft Foods.

Today, Maxwell House is owned and managed by the Kraft Heinz Company. While the brand maintains a global presence, its primary manufacturing facilities remain located in North America, notably in Jacksonville, Florida. The brand continues to evolve to meet modern consumer demands while maintaining its heritage as one of the most recognized coffee labels in the world.
