Dao Coffee

Dao Coffee is the flagship brand of Dao-Heuang Group, one of the most prominent and successful enterprises in Laos. Founded in 1991 by the Leuanglitluechai family, the brand has grown from a small import-export venture into a leading coffee producer in Southeast Asia. The coffee beans are primarily grown on the fertile volcanic soil of the Bolaven Plateau in southern Laos, which provides ideal conditions for high-quality Arabica and Robusta varieties.

The brand is known for its diverse range of products, including whole beans, ground coffee, and popular 3-in-1 instant coffee mixes. Manufacturing is centered in their state-of-the-art facilities in Pakse, Laos, ensuring that the production process from bean to package remains largely localized. This vertical integration allows the brand to maintain strict quality control while supporting the local agricultural economy.

Today, Dao Coffee remains under the ownership of the Dao-Heuang Group. It has transitioned from a local favorite to an international brand, exporting products to neighboring countries like Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia, as well as markets in China, Japan, and Europe. The brand stands as a symbol of Laotian industrial growth and is the country's most recognized consumer export in the beverage sector.
