In 2018, Belkin was acquired by Foxconn Interconnect Technology (FIT), a subsidiary of the Taiwanese multinational Foxconn (Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd.). While the brand maintains its headquarters in El Segundo, California, for design and operations, its manufacturing is primarily centralized in China through Foxconn's extensive industrial network.
