7UP Free Cherry is a cherry-flavored, zero-sugar carbonated soft drink. The 7UP brand was originally created by Charles Leiper Grigg in 1929 in the USA. Today, the global rights to 7UP are split between two major beverage giants. In the United States, it is owned and distributed by Keurig Dr Pepper. Internationally, including in Sweden and most of the world, the brand is owned and distributed by PepsiCo.

In the Swedish market, 7UP is manufactured and distributed through a long-standing partnership by Carlsberg Sverige, which operates a production facility in Falkenberg. This local production ensures that the version found on Swedish shelves is tailored to regional preferences and utilizes local supply chains.
