Ownership and Global Presence

Starting with a partnership in the 1990s, the brand eventually became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Swiss multinational Nestlé. However, as part of a significant strategic shift in the frozen food sector, Nestlé moved its European frozen pizza business into a joint venture with the private equity firm PAI Partners. Today, the Nestlé Wagner GmbH operates under the umbrella of the European Pizza Group, headquartered in the United Kingdom, which manages several leading pizza brands across the continent.
