Nestlé Pureza Vital entered the Brazilian market as a flagship bottled water brand, known for its focus on regular hydration and family consumption. The brand originated from the global Nestlé group, which has a long-standing history in the beverage and nutrition sector. In Brazil, the water is typically sourced from local springs, such as Fonte Marisa as indicated on the label, which determines its production and bottling location within the country.

While the brand was created by Nestlé (Switzerland), a major shift occurred recently in its ownership structure. In late 2020, Nestlé Aguas Brasil concluded a licensing deal and sale of operations to Minalba Brasil, an enterprise under the Edson Queiroz Group. Consequently, while the Nestlé name is still utilized on the packaging through licensing, the ultimate commercial control and distribution of the Pureza Vital line within Brazil are managed by Minalba Brasil, a leading national player in the mineral water market.
