Lara Deliciosas vanilla cookies

Lara Deliciosas are a traditional line of vanilla-flavored cookies widely popular in Mexico. The Lara brand has a long history in the Mexican market, known for its sweet biscuits and crackers. Historically, the brand belonged to the Mexican baked goods giant Grupo Bimbo.

Today, the Lara brand is under the umbrella of Mondelēz International. This transition occurred as part of Mondelēz's acquisition of Ricolino from Grupo Bimbo, a deal finalized strategically to expand their snacking footprint in Latin America. While the brand is owned by an American multinational, these cookies continue to be manufactured primarily within Mexico to serve the local and regional markets.
