Aenova is a leading global contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Founded in 2006 through the merger of Aqua-Nova and Dragenopharm, it has grown extensively through various acquisitions to become one of Europe's market leaders.

The group operates multiple production sites across Europe and North America, with its core manufacturing hubs located in Germany. Aenova specializes in the development and production of all common dosage forms, including solids, semi-solids, and liquids, serving a wide range of international pharmaceutical clients.

While originally formed by German companies, the brand's ownership has transitioned through private equity entities. Following its acquisition by BC Partners in 2012, its ultimate ownership was subsequently transferred to the global investment firm Kühne Holding AG in 2024, positioning the company under Swiss-based ultimate control while maintaining its operational headquarters in Germany.
