Lindt Lindor represents one of the most iconic luxury chocolate brands globally, recognized for its smooth-melting centers and signature round truffles. This specific product is the Hazelnut variety, which combines premium milk chocolate with finely crunchy hazelnut pieces and a creamy filling.
Originally founded in Switzerland in the mid-19th century, Lindt has expanded its manufacturing footprint significantly. While its spiritual and corporate home remains in Kilchberg, Switzerland, the company operates several major production facilities across Europe (including Germany, Italy, and France) and the United States to serve international markets. The LINDOR recipe itself was first developed as a chocolate bar in 1949 and later evolved into the spherical truffle format in 1967.
Today, the brand is owned by Chocoladefabriken Lindt & Sprüngli AG, a publicly traded Swiss company. It remains a proudly independent chocolate manufacturer known for its 'from bean to bar' quality philosophy, controlling every step of the chocolate-making process from the selection of cocoa beans to the final packaging.
