After Eight is a prestigious brand of mint-flavoured chocolate confectionery. It was originally created by Rowntree & Company Limited in 1962 in the United Kingdom. Designed as an after-dinner chocolate, it quickly became a cultural staple for social gatherings and formal dinners.

In 1988, the Swiss multinational Nestlé S.A. acquired Rowntree, bringing After Eight under its extensive portfolio of global brands. While the production was historically centered at the Castleford factory in West Yorkshire, production has also taken place in Halifax and other European facilities to meet global demand. Nestlé continues to oversee the brand's production and distribution globally, maintaining its positioning as a premium chocolate brand.
