Vorwerk is a legendary family-owned brand that has become a global leader in high-end household appliances. Established in 1883 in Wuppertal, Germany, the company began as a carpet manufacturer before transitioning into the innovative electronics power-house it is today. They are most famous for their Kobold vacuum cleaners and the multifunctional Thermomix kitchen machine.

While Vorwerk maintains a strong global footprint, the majority of its manufacturing and engineering remains centered in Germany, particularly at its founding site in Wuppertal. However, to meet international demand, they also operate production facilities in France and China. Despite its massive size, Vorwerk remains a private, family-owned enterprise, retaining its traditional values while leading the direct-sales industry on a global scale.
