Risi is a quintessential Spanish snack brand, best known for its iconic corn-based products like Risketos and Gusanitos. Founded in 1970, the company has grown to become a leader in the extruded snack market within Spain, maintaining a strong cultural presence among generations of consumers.
All Risi products are manufactured in their central production facility located in Daganzo de Arriba (Madrid), Spain. This facility handles the processing, flavoring, and packaging of their extensive range of savory snacks, chocolates, and cookies, ensuring consistent quality and distribution across the Iberian Peninsula.
While العديد of food brands are acquired by multinational conglomerates, Risi remains a family-owned Spanish enterprise. It is currently owned by the Gómez-Cuétara family through the parent company Risi, S.A. This ownership structure has allowed the brand to maintain its traditional recipes and local focus while continuing to innovate in the competitive snack food sector.
