Lotus Comfort Toilet Paper

Lotus is a leading brand of hygiene tissue products in Europe and the Nordic region. The brand has its historical roots in France and was for many years part of the American Georgia-Pacific group. In 2012, the brand was acquired by the Swedish forest products and hygiene company SCA (Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget). Following a strategic organizational split in 2017, the hygiene business became an independent entity known as Essity.

Today, Lotus is a key brand in Essity's portfolio. For the Scandinavian market, much of the production takes place at the Lilla Edet paper mill in Sweden, which is notable for its sustainability efforts, including large-scale fossil-free production. However, because Essity operates a extensive network of facilities across Europe, production can vary or be supplemented by other regional sites to ensure supply chain efficiency.
