Fry's Turkish Delight is a classic chocolate confection originally launched in the United Kingdom in 1914 by J. S. Fry & Sons. The product consists of a rose-flavored gel centre covered in a thin coating of milk chocolate. While the brand has a deep British heritage, modern production for the UK and European markets has primarily shifted to Poland as part of the supply chain consolidation by its current owner.
Historically, J. S. Fry & Sons merged with Cadbury in 1919. Today, both the Fry's and Cadbury brands are global assets managed by Mondelez International. This transition occurred after the 2010 acquisition of Cadbury by Kraft Foods, which subsequently split its grocery and snack businesses, placing its confectionery brands under the newly formed Mondelez International in 2012. The brand remains a staple in British confectionery despite being manufactured internationally.
