Alpro Roasted Almond Drink

Alpro is a pioneering European brand specializing in plant-based food and drink products. Founded in 1980 in Belgium, the company was a frontrunner in the movement toward dairy-free alternatives. The roasted almond drink shown in the image is part of their extensive range of nut, grain, and soy-based beverages.

The brand has undergone several ownership changes as the market for plant-based products grew. Originally part of the Vandemoortele Group, it was later acquired by WhiteWave Foods. In 2017, the French multinational food corporation Danone acquired WhiteWave, bringing Alpro under its global umbrella. Today, Alpro products are manufactured in several high-tech facilities across Europe to meet international demand while maintaining their focus on sustainable production practices.
