Herta Pizza Dough

Herta is a renowned brand in the European food sector, particularly famous for its ready-to-use doughs and deli meats. Originally founded in Germany, the brand has become a household staple in France and Belgium. For several decades, Herta was owned by the Swiss conglomerate Nestlé. However, in 2019, a strategic shift led to the creation of a joint venture where Nestlé sold a 60% stake in Herta to the Spanish group Casa Tarradellas, while retaining the remaining 40%. Manufacturing for the French market is primarily centered in France, notably at the Saint-Pol-sur-Ternoise site, ensuring regional supply chains and high quality standards for their baking products.
