Planted is a Swiss food-tech startup founded in 2019 at ETH Zurich. The brand specializes in creating meat alternatives from pea, oat, and sunflower proteins using a unique biostructuring process that mimics the texture of animal meat. Most of their production occurs in their own glass-walled production facility in Kemptthal, Switzerland, ensuring high transparency and quality control.

As of now, the brand remains independently owned by its founders and a group of private investors. Their products focus on clean labels without additives, positioning them as a premium choice in the plant-based market across Europe, including Germany, Austria, and the UK.
