Día (Distribuidora Internacional de Alimentación) is a prominent Spanish multinational hard-discount supermarket chain. Founded in Madrid in 1979, the brand was established to provide affordable essentials through its own private label products.

Día's manufacturing is decentralized, with products sourced from local suppliers in the markets where it operates, including Spain, Portugal, Argentina, and Brazil. This ensures fresh distribution and supports regional economies.

Ownership of the company has shifted significantly over the decades. Originally an independent company, it was acquired by the Carrefour Group in 2000 before being spun off as an independent entity again in 2011. Since 2019, the company has been under the ultimate ownership of LetterOne, an international investment business headquartered in Luxembourg, which holds a majority stake.
