Lumberjack is an Italian-born brand founded in 1979 by Antonello Bolzonello, who was inspired by the rugged aesthetic of North American park rangers. The brand became famous for its outdoor and casual footwear, particularly its iconic yellow boot.

In 2012, the brand was acquired by the Turkish conglomerate FLO Magazacilik (formerly Ziylan Group), which transitioned the ultimate ownership to Turkey. While the brand maintains its design and marketing roots in Italy to preserve its European identity, the actual manufacturing takes place across a global supply chain, including Turkey, Italy, and South Asia. Today, it operates as a major international name in the casual 'urbaNature' footwear segment.
