Caffè vom See is an artisanal coffee brand that originated in Carinthia, Austria. It was initially developed by brothers Michael and Thomas Helml specifically for their boutique hotel, Villa Verdin, located on the shores of Lake Millstatt. The brand focuses on a unique roasting style that blends the robust intensity of Italian espresso with the aromatic refinement of traditional Austrian 'Mokka' culture.

While the raw Arabica beans are sourced from high-altitude organic plantations in countries like Uganda, India, and Indonesia, the final product is produced and roasted in Austria. Over the years, the brand has expanded from its hospitality roots to include a dedicated roasting facility in Millstatt and a flagship bar and distribution hub in Vienna. The brand remains family-owned and operated by its founders, emphasizing sustainable production and local craftsmanship.
