The Tartare Sauce, prominently labeled as 'Crafted in Britain,' continues this tradition by being produced within the United Kingdom, specifically in Burton-on-Trent for many of its sauce lines following transitions from its original Norwich base.

Today, the brand is owned by Unilever, one of the world's largest consumer goods companies. Unilever acquired the brand in 1995 from Reckitt & Colman. While the brand maintains its British identity and manufacturing footprint, its ultimate ownership resides with the British-headquartered multinational Unilever PLC, which oversees global distribution and product development for the Colman's label.
