Forge of Empires video game

Forge of Empires is a popular browser-based and mobile strategy video game developed and published by the German developer InnoGames. Launched in 2012, the game allows players to build and develop a city from the Stone Age through various historical eras and into the future. In 2016, a majority stake in InnoGames was acquired by Modern Times Group (MTG), a Swedish digital entertainment company.
