La Casera is an iconic Spanish brand founded in 1949 by the Duffo family. It quickly became famous for its 'Gaseosa' (a sweetened carbonated water) which is a staple in Spanish households, often mixed with wine to make Tinto de Verano. The brand is deeply rooted in Spanish culture and maintains its primary production facilities within Spain.
Over the decades, the brand's ownership has transitioned from the founding family to international beverage groups. Today, it is owned by the Suntory Beverage & Food Europe, a subsidiary of the Japanese multinational conglomerate Suntory Group. Despite the international ownership, the brand remains a symbol of Spanish lifestyle and continues to be manufactured predominantly in Spain to serve the domestic and international markets.
