Cune (Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España) is a historic winery located in Haro, within the Rioja Alta region of Spain. Founded in 1879 by brothers Eusebio and Raimundo Real de Asúa, it remains one of the most iconic names in Spanish viticulture. The brand is famous for its commitment to traditional winemaking methods combined with modern innovation, and it was the first Spanish winery to receive the Wine Spectator 'Wine of the Year' award.
The wine is produced and bottled in the Rioja region, adhering to the strict regulations of the Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOCa) Rioja. The ultimate ownership remains largely within the founding family through CVNE, which has expanded its portfolio to include other prestigious Spanish wine brands while maintaining its headquarters in Haro, Spain.
