Vivi Kola Original soft drink

Vivi Kola is a historic Swiss beverage brand that holds a significant place in the country's soft drink history. Originally launched in 1938 by the mineral spring of Eglisau (Mineralquelle Eglisau), it was the first Swiss-made cola and gained immense popularity as a local alternative to international giants. Its recipe was unique for using real kola nuts and diverse herbs, which contributed to its distinctive 'mountain-fresh' flavor profile.

After falling into obscurity for several decades and eventually ceasing production in 1986, the brand was revitalized in 2010 by entrepreneur Christian Forrer. Since its revival, the production has returned to its Swiss roots, prioritizing local sourcing and tradition. Today, Vivi Kola is primarily manufactured in Switzerland, often utilizing Swiss sugar and focusing on sustainable glass bottling to maintain its premium, artisanal image and cultural heritage.
