Gamma Ray is the flagship American Pale Ale from Beavertown Brewery, characterized by its vibrant tropical aroma and distinctive psychedelic can artwork featuring space-themed skeletons. Originally brewed in a kitchen in 2011, it has become one of the most recognizable craft beers in the UK.

While Beavertown began as a quintessential independent London craft brewery, its ownership structure changed significantly over the last few years. Following an initial minority stake investment in 2018, the global beverage giant Heineken N.V. acquired full ownership of the brand in 2022. Today, the majority of the production takes place at Beavertown's state-of-the-art facility, 'Beaverworld', located in Enfield, London, ensuring the brand remains tied to its North London roots despite its international corporate backing.
