BiFi is a renowned brand of meat snacks, primarily known for its small, smoked salami sticks. It was launched in 1972 by the German company Schafft Fleischwerke in Ansbach. The brand quickly became a staple in the snack market across German-speaking countries and Europe, praised for its portability and iconic flavor.
Historically, BiFi was part of the Unilever portfolio for many years. However, in 2014, Unilever sold its meat snack division to Jack Link's, a global leader in the jerky and meat snacks category based in the United States. Today, the product continues to be manufactured primarily in Germany at the original production site in Ansbach, maintaining its heritage while being part of a global American snacking enterprise.
