Historically, the brand has its roots in Vienna, where it was developed as part of the Casali company. In 1970, the brand was acquired by Manner (Josef Manner & Comp. AG), another historic Austrian family-owned company. Today, the production is centralized at the Manner factory in Vienna’s 17th district. Manner remains an independent, publicly traded family business, maintaining its headquarters and core manufacturing within Austria to ensure traditional quality standards and its heritage as a staple of Central European sweets culture.
