Est Cola is a popular Thai soft drink brand launched in 2012 following a historic business separation. It was developed to fill the market gap after the local bottler Sermsuk Public Company Limited ended its long-standing partnership with PepsiCo. By utilizing its existing massive distribution network and tailoring the flavor profile specifically to Thai preferences, Est quickly became a major competitor in the regional beverage market.
The brand is manufactured locally in Thailand across multiple bottling facilities owned by Sermsuk. Since its inception, the brand has expanded its portfolio to include various flavors and sugar-free options. While it has attempted to enter neighboring markets in Southeast Asia, Thailand remains its primary production hub and consumer base.
Ownership of Est Cola lies with Sermsuk Public Company Limited, which is itself a subsidiary of Thai Beverage Public Company Limited (ThaiBev). ThaiBev is one of Southeast Asia's largest beverage companies, owned by the billionaire Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi. This ownership structure places Est Cola under a massive domestic conglomerate that manages everything from spirits and beer to non-alcoholic beverages and food products.
