Smint is a globally recognized brand of breath mints, characterized by its iconic triangular shape and distinctive packaging. The brand was launched in 1994 by the Spanish confectionery company Chupa Chups. Originally developed as a sugar-free alternative for adults, it quickly gained popularity across Europe and international markets for its intense freshness.

Today, the brand is owned by Perfetti Van Melle, a multi-national confectionery giant formed by the merger of the Italian group Perfetti and the Dutch group Van Melle.
