Vitarela is one of Brazil's most prominent snack and pasta brands, founded in 1993 in the state of Pernambuco. Over the decades, it grew to become a market leader, especially in the North and Northeast regions of Brazil. Known for its wide range of products including salted crackers, sweet biscuits, and various types of pasta, the brand is synonymous with accessibility and quality in the Brazilian domestic market.

In 2008, the brand was acquired by M. Dias Branco S.A., a major Brazilian food processing company and the largest manufacturer of cookies and pasta in Latin America. Today, Vitarela operates under this parent company, maintaining its primary production facilities in Jaboatão dos Guararapes, Pernambuco. This ownership ensures that the brand remains under a wholly Brazilian corporate structure, focusing on large-scale distribution across South America.
