Pettiz is a well-known brand of roasted and seasoned peanuts produced by Dori Alimentos, a prominent Brazilian company in the confectionery and snack sector. Founded in 1967 in Marília, São Paulo, Dori has grown from a small family business into one of Brazil's largest exporters of candies and snacks. In mid-2023, the global food giant Ferrero Group, headquartered in Italy, announced an agreement to acquire Dori Alimentos. This acquisition, finalized shortly after, places Pettiz under the umbrella of a world-leading chocolate and confectionery group, although the brand maintains its strong Brazilian identity and local manufacturing operations in several Brazilian plants.
