SPC (originally Shepparton Preserving Company) is one of Australia's most iconic food heritage brands, established in 1918 in Shepparton, Victoria. The brand is deeply rooted in the Goulburn Valley region, which provides the fertile soil required for the high-quality peaches, pears, and apricots used in their products.
For a long period, SPC was owned by the multinational corporation Coca-Cola Amatil. However, in 2019, the brand returned to Australian ownership when it was acquired by Shepparton Partners Collective. The company remains a major employer in regional Victoria and continues to manufacture its products locally, maintaining a strong commitment to Australian-grown produce and domestic manufacturing standards.
