Disaronno Originale is a world-renowned Italian liqueur with a characteristic almond flavor, although it surprisingly contains no almonds. It is produced in Saronno, Italy, and is made using apricot kernel oil, burnt sugar, and the essence of seventeen selected herbs and fruits. The brand's history dates back to 1525, rooted in a legend involving the artist Bernardino Luini.

Today, the brand is owned by ILLVA Saronno S.p.A., a family-owned Italian company that has preserved the secret recipe through generations. The distinctive square glass bottle, designed by a master glassmaker from Murano, has become an iconic symbol of the brand worldwide.
