Estrella Galicia is a premium beer brand produced by the Hijos de Rivera brewery. Its origins date back to 1906, when José María Rivera Corral founded 'La Estrella de Galicia' in A Coruña, in the northwestern Spanish region of Galicia. Inspired by his travels in Mexico and Cuba, Corral aimed to create a high-quality local beer that matched the character of his homeland.

The brand has remained fiercely independent and is notably one of the few large Spanish breweries that is still 100% family-owned. Through five generations of the Rivera family, the company has grown from a local favorite to an international competitor, known for its traditional brewing methods and long fermentation cycles. Today, the brand is widely recognized for its sponsorship in sports, particularly in Formula 1 with drivers like Carlos Sainz Jr. and teams like McLaren and Williams.
