Becker's Pils is a traditional German beer brand with deep roots in the Saarland region. The brand originated from the Gebrüder Becker brewery in St. Ingbert, which was founded in 1877. This Pilsner-style lager is known for its classic brewing tradition and its historical association with the local coal and steel industry workers in southwest Germany.
Over the decades, the ownership of the brand changed as the German brewing market consolidated. In the late 1990s, the Becker brewery was acquired by the Karlsberg Group. Today, Becker's Pils is primarily produced and distributed by the Karlsberg Brauerei in Homburg. While the original brewery in St. Ingbert no longer operates as an independent production site, the brand remains a staple in the region's beverage market under the stewardship of one of Germany's largest privately held brewery groups.
