Maisel & Friends Pale Ale

Maisel & Friends Pale Ale is a modern interpretation of the American Pale Ale style, produced by the family-owned brewery Gebrüder Maisel based in Bayreuth, Bavaria. Launched in 2012 by Jeff Maisel, the fourth-generation owner, the 'Maisel & Friends' line was established to spearhead the craft beer movement in Germany. The brand emphasizes creative brewing while strictly adhering to the Bavarian Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot), which limits ingredients to water, malt, hops, and yeast.

All production takes place at the historic brewery site in Bayreuth, where the company has also established a 'Beer Experience World' and a restaurant called Liebesbier. The brewery remains independently owned by the Maisel family, continuing a tradition that dates back to 1887. The Pale Ale itself is known for its golden color and complex hop profile, featuring notes of citrus and tropical fruits, and it serves as one of the flagship offerings in their craft specialty portfolio.
