Mats Jonasson Målerås is a world-renowned Swedish glassworks specializing in high-quality handmade lead crystal. This specific product is a crystal glass sculpture, part of their iconic mask or ethnic-inspired series, characterized by intricate sandblasted and painted details on the reverse to create a three-dimensional effect. Målerås Glasbruk was established in 1890 in the heart of the Swedish 'Kingdom of Crystal' (Glasriket) in Småland.

The manufacturing process remains deeply rooted in traditional Swedish artisanal techniques, with every piece being hand-etched, polished, and finished in the local Målerås factory.
