Compactor is a traditional Brazilian stationery brand with over 60 years of history. The product shown is 'Cola Isopor Polar', an adhesive specifically designed for expanded polystyrene (styrofoam) and other school crafts.

The brand has its roots in a partnership between the Schneider family (of the German Schneider Schreibgeräte) and the Buschle family in Brazil. While it maintained strong technological links with Germany during its development, Compactor is a genuinely Brazilian company with its main manufacturing plant located in Nova Iguaçu, Rio de Janeiro. It remains a family-owned enterprise through Cia. de Canetas Compactor, serving as a major player in the South American education and office supply markets.
