Clever is the leading electric vehicle (EV) charging service provider in Denmark. Founded in 2009 by a consortium of Danish energy companies, Clever has established an extensive infrastructure of charging stations across the country, serving both private car owners and commercial fleets.

The company's operations are deeply rooted in the Nordic transition to green energy. While the physical hardware (charging stations) may be sourced from various international technology partners, the service delivery, software platform, and network management are headquartered and developed in Denmark. Clever is currently owned by the Danish energy cooperatives Andel and NRGi, making it a locally-owned pillar of the Danish sustainable transport sector.
