Stimorol is a renowned brand of chewing gum that originally hails from Denmark, having been launched in 1956 by the company Dandy. It was famously promoted as the first sugar-free gum in several European markets. Over the decades, the brand became a household name across Scandinavia, the Netherlands, and Belgium.
Ownership of the brand has transitioned through major global confectionery giants. In 2002, the original owner, Dandy, was acquired by Cadbury-Schweppes. Later, Cadbury was bought by Kraft Foods, which eventually spun off its snack food division into Mondelēz International. As of 2023, the brand is part of the global portfolio of Perfetti Van Melle, one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of confectionery and chewing gum. Production occurs across various global facilities owned by Perfetti Van Melle to serve its international distribution network.
