Today, the product is primarily manufactured in the Santa Coloma de Gramenet plant in Catalonia, Spain. After a period of shared ownership, the brand was fully acquired by the beverage group Damm in early 2024. Damm is a major Spanish brewery and beverage distributor founded in Barcelona by August Kuentzmann Damm. The acquisition solidified Cacaolat's position within a robust Spanish-owned beverage portfolio, ensuring its local heritage remains intact while leveraging Damm's extensive logistics network.
