Tetley is a historic tea brand established in Yorkshire, England, in 1837 by Joseph and Edward Tetley. It became a pioneer in the industry by introducing tea bags to the UK market in the 1950s. The brand underwent a major ownership shift in 2000 when it was acquired by the Tata Group.

While the brand has British roots and maintains a large processing plant in Teesside, UK, much of its global supply, including the product shown, is blended and packed in India.
